“GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards”
IDB annually publishes a Sustainability Report prepared according to the “GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards” – the most recent and widespread international non-financial reporting standards – with the aim of giving visibility to the many activities that individual companies carry out in order to always place first the following key points, essential elements for companies that aim to continue to grow and be increasingly a reference point in the market:
  1. Workers' well-being and safety
All IDB Group companies are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy workplace by promoting structured health and safety management procedures and programmes.
  2. Safety of products
The companies ensure the quality and safety of the products, encouraging innovation and the development of sustainable products.
  3. Reduction of environmental impact
Each company is committed to respecting the ecosystem, considering the environment in a broad sense in order to reduce environmental impact.
  4. Circularity and efficient use of resources
It is important to guarantee transparency in the choice of materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and limiting environmental impact.
  5. Presence on local markets
The Group’s companies are strongly linked to the territory in which they operate and contribute to the economic development of the local areas and communities, contributing to the generation of jobs.
  6. Adoption of business ethics
For IDB, it is a priority to ensure ethical business conduct across the board, engaging in anti-corruption efforts and compliance with socio-economic and environmental regulations while guaranteeing business continuity.

We strongly believe that by adopting what might seem “small” measures in the way we operate, we can build the foundations to make a “big” difference in the footprint we leave and will leave on the ecosystem that surrounds us.
